Sanju Samson Hits 5 Consecutive Sixes: Sanju Samson set the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on fire as he smashed Rishad Hossain of Bangladesh for five consecutive sixes in the 10th over of the first innings of the India vs Bangladesh 3rd T20I on October 12 (Saturday). Hossai, who was bowling the 10th over for Bangladesh conceded 30 runs in the over with one dot ball and five balls that were hit for six. Opening the batting for India, Samson scored 111 runs off just 47 deliveries.
The standout moment of his explosive 111-run innings came in the 10th over when he surged from 62 off 29 balls into the 90s in just six deliveries. Following a dot ball, Samson launched an aggressive assault on the 22-year-old Rishad Hossain, smashing a towering six that hit the sightscreen.

He then focused on the same areas—long-off, long-on and deep mid-wicket—to finish the over with a total of 30 runs, marking the second-highest runs scored by an Indian batter in a single over in T20I history. The record for the highest runs in an over still belongs to Yuvraj Singh, who hit six sixes against England during the 2007 T20 World Cup match.

Samson eventually brought up his maiden T20I century in just 40 balls as he scored a boundary off Bangladesh's Mahedi Hasan while being on 96 runs. Watch the video here:
With help of Samson's hundred, India finished on 297-6 in 20 overs, recording their highest-ever T20I score and secon overall. India also registered the highest-ever T20I score by a Test-playing nation.
