New Delhi: Not known for getting dragged into who’s the best debate, Sachin Tendulkar, largely regarded as the best batsman of the modern era, was bowled over by Rashid Khan, so much so that he ended up labeling him the best spinner of the current lot in the shortest format.

Showering praise on Rashid, Sachin tweeted "Always felt @rashidkhan_19 was a good spinner but now I wouldn't hesitate in saying he is the best spinner in the world in this format. Mind you, he's got some batting skills as well. Great guy."

Rashid helped struggling Hyderabad post 174/7 by scoring bulk of the 50 runs in the last three overs which proved to be the difference at the end as he took three wickets which included the wickets of Chris Lynn (48), Robin Uthappa (2) and Andre Russell (3) to help his team seal a spot in the IPL final.

He was brilliant in the field too. It was his run out that started the wicket-spree for Sunrisers when his rocket-arm found Nitish Rana short of his crease. If that was not enough, then he also took two catches in the crucial last over to seal the victory for his side.

"It was much-needed for me, wanted to give my 100 per cent in all departments," Rashid said on his performance.

So far, Rashid has taken 21 wickets in 16 matches.
