New Delhi: One of the world’s most explosive batsmen in the cricketing history, Virender Sehwag turned 39 on Friday. The Delhi born cricketer is known for his swashbuckling style of batting during his first stint on the cricket ground and for humourous approach to commentary in his second innings.
‘The Nawab of Najafgarh’ is also an active twitterati and leaves no stones unturned to troll cricketers and friends with his wittiness. But, on his birthday, Sehwag was at the receiving end as Sachin Tendulkar gave him a taste of his own medicine.
The Master Blaster wished his former opening partner in an amusing tweet. Sachin wrote, "Happy birthday, Viru! Have a great start to the New Year. You've always done ulta of what I've told you on the field. So here's one from me."
However, the entire text was written upside down :)
Sehwag shares a unique bond with Sachin Tendulkar, on and off-the-field. The duo formed lethal opening partnership in the 2000’s.
They have shared 13 hundred plus partnership stands and 18 50 plus stands. While their highest stand is of 182 for the first wicket.
