While Rohit Sharma is gearing up to lead Team India in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, his wife Ritika Sajdeh finds herself in the middle of a controversy. Ritika took to social media to share a reel on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Her post contained the phrase "All Eyes On Rafah" which highlights the tensed situation in Rafah, a city in Gaza. Amid violence in Israel, over a million Palestinians are in the city in search for a shelter.
However, Ritika's post hasn't gone down too well with the netizens with her facing severe backlash over her post. Several social media handles highlighted that she never spoke about issues in India but showed support for Palestine. Such severe was the trolling on social media that Ritika was forced to delete it a few hours later.

Rohit Shrarma & Co. Set To Begin T20 World Cup 2024 Campaign On June 5
As far as Rohit Sharma is concerned, he has already reached New York along with the first batch of Team India players ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit would look to end Team India's world title drought with India last having clinched an ICC title in 2013.
India begin their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Ireland on June 5 (Wednesday) before their big game against Pakistan on June 9 (Sunday). Both the matches are scheduled to be played at the Nassau International Cricket Stadium in New York.
Rohit-led India reached the finals of the 2023 ODI World Cup but were outplayed by Australia in the summit clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
