Congratulatory messages and felicitation ceremonies seems to have just begun for the T20 World-Cup winning India squad members. A day after the open-bus roadshow from Marine Drive to the Wankhede Stadium and a felicitation ceremony organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at the iconic venue, captain Rohit Sharma and other Mumbai players who were part of that squad, were felicitated by the Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

CM Shinde gave each of Rohit, Suryakumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube a shawl and an idol of Lord Ganesha as he congratulated them for the fantastic achievement. The four players had even paid a visit to the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha. Skipper Rohit's speech at the state assembly has gone viral where he spoke in Marathi. Rohit's remark sparked laughter from the assembly which welcomed him with chants of 'India Cha Raja Rohit Sharma.'
