The seasoned opener is now the second Indian cricketer to achieve this landmark, following Virat Kohli. He joins Pakistan captain Babar Azam as one of the only three batsmen in the world to have scored more than 4,000 runs in T20 Internationals.

Rohit is tied with Australia's Glenn Maxwell for the most T20I centuries, with both having scored five centuries each. In terms of half-centuries and above, Rohit has the third highest number of 50+ scores (34) in T20Is, trailing behind Pakistan's Babar Azam (39) and India's Virat Kohli (38).
