From time to time, India captain Rohit Sharma comes up with hilarious one liners and comments that seems to leave everyone in splits. Even during a tensed passage of play, the senior India cricketer managed to produce such a moment on Day 2 of the second India vs England Test match at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. After India posted 445 in their first innings, England led by Ben Duckett came up all guns blazing and at the end of the day's play find themselves at 207/2 after 35 overs going at nearly 6 runs an over.
Other than Duckett's fastest hundred by an England batter, Indian bowlers were also rattled with even the usually on point Ravindra Jadeja bowling a couple of no balls. And then in order to encourage Jadeja, captain Rohit Sharma was caught in the stump mic saying: "Jaddu, T20 samjh ke ball kar. No Balls allowed nahi hai." The Indian skipper urged Jadeja to think of it as a T20 game while bowling to prevent the overstepping no-ball error.
A video of Rohit Sharma's hilarious remark has gone viral:
IND vs ENG 3rd Test: England Trail By 238 Runs At Stumps On Day 2
Duckett's 88-ball ton has left the game wide open. England find themselves 238 runs behind India's tally with 8 wickets in hand. The Engalnd opener will resume his innings on 133 on Day 3 and will have the experienced Joe Root with him at the other end who has had a quiet series so far. For India, Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammed Siraj have been amongst the wickets so far but England's approach have left the Indian bowlers with a lot of thinking to do before they turn up on Day 3.
