In the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) meeting that is set to take place next week, the BCCI can see huge changes in the administrator's line-up. Former Indian cricketer Roger Binny is most likely to take charge as the new BCCI president.
If Binny is given the onus, he will be replacing former India skipper Sourav Ganguly. It is also expected that Jay Shah will retain his position as BCCI secretary.

Roger Binny is one of the finest players to have played for India. He donned the Indian jersey in a total of 27 Test matches and 72 ODIs in which he scalped 47 and 77 wickets respectively. Binny was a part of the Indian squad that won the 1983 World Cup. He played a crucial role in India’s winning run under Kapil Dev.
Binny was the highest wicket-taker for India as he picked up 18 wickets in eight games. Binny again starred for India at the 1985 World Championship of Cricket where he took 17 wickets and India lifted the trophy under the leadership of Sunil Gavaskar.
Talking about his post-cricket life, he has a lot of experience in cricket administration. He had been assigned several positions with the Karnataka Cricket Association. In 2019, he was picked as KSCA's president. Roger Binny has served as the senior national men's team selector in the past and was on the panel when the squad for the 2015 World Cup was picked.
Roger’s son Stuart Binny has also represented India in six Test matches and 12 ODIs. In the white ball format, he also has the record for best bowling figures by an Indian as he took six wickets for just four runs against Bangladesh. He achieved this feat in 2014.
