Rishabh Pant, the star India wicketkeeper-batter, is someone who loves to have some field on the field. Not only when he bats but even when is behind the stumps, Pant loves to keep chatting and blabbering, with some of his hilarious one-liners getting caught on the stump mic. This time around too Pant had a brilliant one-liner which was caught on the stump mic, with the video of the incident going viral on social media.


The incident happened in the 33rd over of the Bangladesh innings during Day 1 of the second Test match at the Green Park Stadium. The veteran India off-spinner bowled a full-length delivery which hit the helmet of the batter was in line with the stumps. It was while reacting to this ball that Pant said: "Ye Acha hai, idhar se LB (W) se sakte hain, helmet se (This one is good, can appeal for LBW if it hits the helmet.)"

Day 1 Action Cut Short Due To Rain


As far as cricket action on Day 1 is concerned, there was little play possible on the opening day of the second Test match. While there was a delayed start because of overnight rain and a wet outfield, only 35 overs were bowled on the first day before bad light stopped play, immediately followed by a heavy spell of rain, forcing the umpire's to call early stumps.

Bangladesh are 107/3 in the first innings at Stumps on Day 1 with two wickets falling to Akash Deep and one going to Ravichandran Ashwin after the lunch break, shortly after which play was called off for the day. Momimul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim are out in the middle for Bangladesh and will resume their innings on Day 2.
