Joe Root flipped the coin unusually high during the toss of the third Test match between India and England. The coin went so high that Nasser Hussain, who was officiating the toss was amused by it. He said, "Very high spin from Joe Root, Ridiculously High!"
As Root flipped the coin, he tilted towards one side, just like how anyone would while making a throw. The coin went high and took a while to come down. Take a look at the video to know more:
Virat Kohli called the toss rightly for the first time in the nine matches that he has captained in England. He won the toss and chose to bat first at Headingley, Leeds. After a dazzling victory at the Lord's (2nd test match between IND and ENG), the Indian spectators will definitely look for a 2-0 lead. Whereas England would be desperate to register their first win against team IND. Both teams and fans are wishing the same thing.
The second Test started on a hunky-dory note for India. By drinks on Day 1, India was 30/3 with Jimmy Anderson picking all three early wickets.
