New Delhi: India host England in the 3rd Test match at Mohali on 26 November after going up 1-0 in the five-match series at Vishakhapatnam. India’s injury woe continues as Wriddhiman Saha was ruled out of Mohali Test.



Wriddhiman Saha suffered a thigh strain in Vishakhapatnam which will keep the 32-year-old out of action in the third Test. Parthiv Patel has been called-up to keep the stumps in the absence of Saha.



Patel makes a Test comeback after 8 long years, the 31-year-old played his last Test against Sri Lanka at Colombo in 2008. Parthiv Patel was away from Test action for 8 years and 106 days, which is an unusual record.



Mohinder Amarnath stands second on the list, He played his last Test December 1969 before making a comeback after 6 years 25 days on January 1976. While, Vijay Mehra, The right hand opening batsman was away from action for 6 years 7 days and stands third on list.



Parthiv Patel made his Test debut at the age of 17 against England at Nottingham in 2002.
