Star India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and his wife Rivaba Jadeja met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday. Soon after their meeting, Jadeja took to Twitter to share a picture with the PM in which he hailed the politician and hoped that he would continue to inspire everyone moving forward.

"It was great meeting you @narendramodi saheb You are a prime example of hard work and dedication for our motherland! I'm sure you will continue to inspire everyone in the best way possible," Jadeja wrote along with the image which has now gone viral on social media.

Notably, Jadeja is currently busy plying his trade for the CSK franchise in IPL 2023. He is in the National Capitals ahead of the Men in Yellow's last league game which will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the National Capital against the Delhi Capitals (DC). While CSK would hope to finish off with a win and secure a place for themselves in the final four in this match, DC are already out of the race to the Playoffs and would like to be a party spoiler.

Jadeja personally has been in reasonably good form. In the 13 matches, he has scalped 16 wickets at an economy of 7.22 with a best of 3/20. In addition, the southpaw has accumulated 133 runs from 9 innings at a strike rate of 127.88. The 34-year-old hasn't been required to do much with the bat with CSK's top-order doing bulk of the scoring but whenever the situation has demaned, Jadeja has chipped with vital cameos with the bat.

Chennai would need Jadeja to continue his good form in their remaining matches of the season, first in the match against DC which will be their ticket to the Playoffs in which both the Qualifier 1 as well as the Eliminator are scheduled to be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
