New Delhi: India’s left arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja clinched his maiden 10-wicket match haul in the 5th Test match at Chennai against England. Jadeja led the Indian Bowling attack in the second session on day 5 to guide India to biggest-ever series win against the visiting England side.

The 28-year-old’s heroic with the ball in the series against England has helped him surge to the second position in the Test rankings.

India’s offie Ravichandran Ashwin tops the ranking with 74 points.

This is one of the rarest instances in Indian test cricket history where the top two spots of ICC Test rankings have been occupied by two Indians.

Only Bishan Singh Bedi and Bhagat Chandrashekhar have held the prime bowling spots in 1974.
