The Indian team outplayed the Australians by six wickets in the second Test and took a 2-0 lead in the four-match series in another three-day finish on Sunday. India got the target of 115 after they restricted the Kangaroo's batters for 113 in their second innings. India completed the chase in 26.4 overs on the third day of the match.

Earlier, India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja came up with his career-best figures of 7/42 in 12.1 overs while his spin mate Ravichandran Ashwin took three Australian wickets. Travis Head was the top-scorer for Australia with 43 off 46 balls on a slow Kotla track.

Ravindra Jadeja said,” I think I was enjoying my bowling. These wickets suit me because the odd ball spins and some stay low. I knew they'd play sweeps and reverse sweeps, so my idea was just keeping it simple and straight. I knew they were looking for runs, so the plan was just bowling into the stumps. If they make a mistake, I have a chance. Don't think the sweep is a good option against me on this kind of wicket (laughs and walks off).”
