Sarfaraz Khan had a memorable debut in India's third Test match against England at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. The Mumbai batter scored a half-century in each of the two innings of his maiden Test. While he looked set for a hundred in the first innings, he was run out after he responded to a call from Ravindra Jadeja on 99*. However, after sensing that it was a tight call, Jadeja said no but Sarfaraz could not get back to safety with his innings ending on 62 off 66.
In the second innings, Sarfaraz seemed to have learnt his lesson. While batting with Jaiswal, who was on 199*, Sarfaraz already cautioned him about not taking a risky single to get to the landmark. In a video he could be heard saying 'Bhagna Mat pehle' moments before Jaiswal ending up getting to his second double century in two Test matches. The clip has gone viral on social media. Sarfaraz scored an unbeaten 68 in the second innings before the declaration from captain Rohit Sharma.

IND vs ENG: 'Yashasvi Jaiswal Could Win Player Of The Series Award,' Predicts Aakash Chopra
It is pertinent to note that despite scoring two double-centuries in two Test matches both of which India ended up winning, Jaiswal has not been able to clinch a single Player Of the Match recognition. While it was Jasprit Bumrah who bagged away with the honour in Visakhapatnam, Ravindra Jadeja got the award in Rajkot. However, Aakash Chopra, who is one of the commentators of the series' Hindi broadcast predicted that he could end up being the Player of the Series award.
"Yashasvi may not have won a single POTM thus far but he will walk away with the Player of the Series award in Dharamsala," Chopra wrote on 'X'.
