Ravindra Jadeja Takes 300 Test Wickets: Ravindra Jadeja, the star Indian all rounder, has achieved a stellar milestone as he has now taken 300 Test wickets in 74 matches for India. Currently playing in the ongoing India vs Bangladesh Test at Kanpur, Jadeja entered the 300-Test Wickets club by removing Bangladesh’s last wicket, Khaled Ahmed, on Day 4 of the IND vs BAN Test.


Jadeja, who is a left-arm orthodox bowler, also became India’s first left-arm spinner to achieve the milestone of 300 Test wickets.


With his 300th Test wicket, he has become the seventh Indian cricketer to achieve this milestone. He joins the elite list of Indian bowlers that includes Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kapil Dev, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma and Zaheer Khan.

Jadeja Only The 3rd Indian Cricketer With 300 Wickets & 3000 Runs In Tests


With his latest scalp, Jadeja has also completed the remarkable double of 3000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket. He becomes only the third Indian cricketer to achieve this feat, joining the elite company of Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin. Globally, Jadeja is now part of an exclusive group of players that includes Ian Botham, Shane Warne, Imran Khan, Stuart Broad, Richard Hadlee, Daniel Vettori, Shaun Pollock and Chaminda Vaas.


Jadeja is the second-fastest player to reach this milestone, achieving the double in just 74 matches, second only to Ian Botham, who accomplished it in 72 matches.


In 74 Tests, Ravindra Jadeja has amassed 3,122 runs, which includes four centuries and 21 half-centuries. On the bowling front, he now has 300 wickets in the format of the game, with 13 five-wicket hauls to his name. In ODIs, Jadeja has accumulated 2,756 runs and taken 300 wickets.
