Rain interrupts BAN vs AFG Super 8 match for third time


Bangladesh required 16 runs from 22 balls to win after rain reduced the match to 19 overs, setting their target at 114 runs to secure win.


Here's what will happen if Afghanistan vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup Super 8 match is called off due to rain: Afghanistan need a win to join India as the two semifinalists from Group 1 to qualify for T20 World Cup 2024 semifinal. Earlier, Afghanistan opted to bat first after winning the toss. Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz top-scored for Afghanistan with a 43-run innings, helping them post 115/5 in 20 overs.
