In the entire tournament, Mumbai Indians did not include Australian batsman Chris Lynn in the playing eleven. Now, about 3 weeks after the IPL is over, Chris Lynn has given a befitting reply to his critics with the bat at Oxenham Park in Brisbane.

The flamboyant hard-hitter scored 154 runs from just 55 balls during a match at the Queensland Premier Cricket T20 in Australia. The special thing is that he hammered 20 sixes during this period.

Out of the total 155 runs, Lynn scored 120 runs with just sixes. Apart from this, he smashed 5 fours during his explosive innings. Not only this, Lynn scored the last 115 runs off just 34 balls. He scored a century off just 38 balls.

Lynn's power-packed innings powered his team Toombul scored 226 runs in the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs against Sunshine Coast, who fell short only by a few runs, amassing 248/7. He got a good support from Matt Renshaw from the other end while batting. Lynn scored these runs with a unbelievable strike rate of over 338.

The 30-year-old Lynn has 'wreaked  havoc' even before the start of the Big Bash League. Lynn has scored the highest 2332 runs in BBL history so far. He plays for the Brisbane team. Before the 2019 auction of IPL, Kolkata Knight Riders removed him from the team. Later KKR's move was criticized by Yuvraj Singh. He is now a part of Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
