Haris Rauf ruled out of PSL: Lahore Qalandars' fast bowler, Haris Rauf, has been sidelined from the remainder of Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) Season 9 due to an injury sustained during his team's match against Karachi Kings at the Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday.

Rauf, one of Pakistan's leading pacers in white-ball cricket, will no longer be available for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after suffering a dislocated shoulder during last night's closely contested match against the Karachi Kings.

The 30-year-old sustained the injury while fielding against Karachi Kings on Friday night and had to leave the field as a result.

“MRI scans and other tests have shown he has a disclosed shoulder which will take time to heal so he is out of the PSL,” the Lahore Qalandars spokesperson told PTI.

Rauf's injury deals a significant blow to Lahore Qalandars, especially considering they are the defending champions, yet have lost all four of their games in the ongoing tournament. Lahore's latest defeat came against Karachi Kings, where they lost in the final over by two wickets on Saturday.

Following the conclusion of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan's next international assignment is a home T20 series against New Zealand scheduled for April. Haris Rauf, who is anticipated to require four to six weeks for recovery from his shoulder injury, may miss this series.
