Colin Munro, the New Zealand batter, captured hearts with his compassionate gesture towards a ball boy during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi on March 4 (Monday). Munro, representing Islamabad, was observed offering fielding advice to the young boy, who initially struggled but later managed to take a fantastic catch beyond the boundary ropes. This touching moment went viral on social media and has been garnering thousands of views.

The heartwarming incident occurred during the 19th over of Peshawar's run chase, with the match already leaning heavily in favour of the bowling team. Arif Yaqoob struck a powerful shot over deep square leg on the penultimate delivery of the over. Remarkably, the ball boy, who had previously dropped a catch earlier in the innings, redeemed himself by executing a sensational catch.

Colin Munro, stationed at deep square leg, had the ball boy positioned directly behind him. Earlier, Amir Jamal of Peshawar Zalmi hit a six over Munro's head, and the ball was beyond his reach. The ball boy attempted to catch it but was unsuccessful. Munro, noticing the effort, was seen sharing tips and advice with the young boy during this moment.

When the boy successfully executed the catch in the 19th over, the New Zealand batter expressed his joy and hugged the boy, capturing hearts online.
