In a latest update in the Prithvi Shaw selfie row, influencer Sapna Gill, hours after being granted bail from the magistrate in the case of criminally intimidating the Indian cricketer, has now filed a case against the opening batter for 'outraging modesty.'

In addition, complaint has also been filed against Ashish Surendra Yadav, Brijesh among others for molestation. The same has been confirmed by Gill's legal representative.

"Criminal complaint registered against Prithvi Shaw, Ashish Surendra Yadav, Brijesh & others (not known to complainant) for illegal acts of molesting and outraging the modesty of Sapna Gill under section 34, 120b, 144, 146, 148, 149, 323, 324, 351, 354 & 509 of IPC," Advocate Ali Kaashif Deshmukh was quoted by news agency ANI.

Notably, Gill had been arrested last Thursday along with her friend Shobhit Thakur and six others for a case of rioting, extortion, and  intimidating Shaw. A case under sections 143, 148, 149, 384, 437, 504, and 506 sections of the IPC have been filed against them.

Initially, a two-day police custody was ordered against Gill and others which expired on Monday. Later, she received a bail by a Andheri court and has now filed a complaint against Shaw.

For the unversed, the 23-year-old was out for dinner with his friend last week when he was approached by Gill and her friend for a selfie. While the young cricketer had initially agreed, on repeated interruptions for pictures, he refused and asked them to leave, even raising the issue with the manager of the hotel.

Gill and Thakur then allegedly abused and assaulted Shaw and the Mumbai batter's car was even attacked using a baseball bat. The Delhi Capitals player was forced to take a different car to leave the scene with his friend Ashish registering a complaint at the Oshiwara Police station.
