Prithvi Shaw has been rumoured to be dating Indian actress Nidhhi Tapadiaa and what fueled the speculations about their relationship even further was a social media post that Shaw reposted of Tapadiaa’s on Instagram on September 23 (Monday). Shaw is in the United Kingdom as he is plying his trade for the club Northamptonshire in the ongoing County Championship Division Two 2024.


Taking to her official Instagram, Tapadiaa shared a story from The Shard, London and tagged Prithvi Shaw along with another user. Shaw reposted the story soon after. Tapadiaa captioned the story, "W bae and bestie."

Coming to the ongoing County Championship, Shaw has struggled to find form in the tournament. He was not included in Northamptonshire's playing 11 for their recent match against Leicestershire. So far, he has scored just 164 runs in nine innings in the red-ball competition, averaging 18.22.


Despite his struggles in the County Championship, Prithvi Shaw showed good form in the 2024 One-Day Cup. The Mumbai-based batter was Northamptonshire's top scorer in the tournament, accumulating 343 runs from eight innings at an average of 42.87.

Shaw earned his maiden India call-up for the home Test series against the West Indies after several strong performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and domestic cricket. The right-hander capitalized on the opportunity, smashing a century on his Test debut and delivering another impressive knock in the second Test. With a series of solid scores in his debut series, Shaw was expected to thrive at the highest level. However, his momentum was halted by an injury during a practice game on India's 2018 tour of Australia. Eventually, he lost his spot in the Indian team following a series of disappointing performances.
