Ahead of the 2018-19 season of the Ranji Trophy, Indian left-arm spinner has made a major shift of teams. After having played for Hyderabad and West Bengal, the 31-year-old spinner has decided to play for Bihar, the side which is returning to the domestic circuit after a gap of 18 years.

Confirming the development, Ojha said, “Yes, I will be playing for Bihar this season.”

Being the senior-most player of an inexperienced side, Ojha may bag the responsibility of leading the pack. It will be the second time that Ojha will play as a professional cricketer in the domestic circuit. He had earlier represented Bengal for two years from 2015/16 to 2016/17 season before he came back to play for Hyderabad season.

Ojha last represented India in 2013, in a Test match against West Indies. So far he has represented India in 24 Tests, 18 ODIs and 6 T20Is where he has scalped 113, 21 and 10 wickets respectively.

He has played 107 first-class matches where he has 423 wickets under his belt. On the other hand, he has grabbed 122 wickets in List A format.
