New Zealand Women's Tour Of India: New Zealand Women are set to take on India Women for the three-match ODI series starting this Thursday, October 24. The newly-crowned Women's T20 World champions are travelling from Dubai to Ahmedabad, as the 1st ODI will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium, and team India will be looking for revenge, as they were humiliated in their Women's T20 World Cup 2024 opener by the same opposition.


The squad features a new debutant in the form of Polly Inglis, who joins the squad led by veteran Sophie Devine. The squad contains majority of the players who are coming off a gruesome Women's T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.

Polly Inglis 'Excited' Upon Receiving Maiden National Call-Up | WATCH


Polly Inglis, in a latest interview, has revealed her excitement upon receiving a maiden national call-up, as she's set o feature in the ODI series away in India. The wicket-keeper batsman also added that she's ready to face the stern test of spin in the Asian conditions.


"Yeah I'm really excited about my first international tour. I think it's really exciting. Just the potential debut, I think that will be a pretty special moment. I know my family and friends will be watching if it happens, and just that opportunity to pull on the black shirt around some pretty awesome girls will be really cool," said Polly Inglis.
