Pakistan vs England: Pakistan beat England by 152 runs in the second Test match of the three-match series at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Friday (October 18). While it appeared that the hosts had gambled in quite a few aspects of this Test match, resting the likes of Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi and then wicket the way they prepared the pitch, it has all yieded the result that has eldued them for quite some time in the longest format of the match.

Noman Ali, the left-arm spinner, finished with figures of 4 for 46 in the second innings while Sajid Khan, right-arm offbreak bowler, scalped 7 wickets for 111 runs in the first innings. The two of them together wreaked havoc on England and scripted maiden win for Shan Masood as the skipper of the team. Other than the spin duo, Kamran Ghulam, who replaced ex-captain Babar in the Playing 11, was also one of the stars of this Pakistan win as he slammed a hundred on Test debut.

Ben Duckett's Century In Vain

The result, however, means Ben Duckett's fantastic hundred went in vain. Duckett scored 114 off 129 as England responded with 291 after Pakistan posted 366. In the second innings Pakistan made 221 and the Three Lions, given their Bazball style of play, would have fancied their chances chasing 297 for win and even had a chance but it all came down too quickly on Day 4 with the Three Lions losing all 8 wickets in a session.
