Pakistan Playing 11 For 1st Test Against Bangladesh: Pakistan are set to host Bangladesh for a two-match Test series scheduled to commence on August 21. The first of the two-Tests will be played in Rawalpindi starting this Wendesday. The home team has already announced their Playing 11 for the series opener which does not have a single specialist spinner in their Playing 11.

This will be be the first such instance of Pakistan playing without a specialist spinner in a home Test match for the first time in 28 years. However, the decision does not come as a surprise as Pakistan had no spinners in the squad to choose from. Abrar Ahmed was released from the squad to play for Pakistan Shaheens.

Even though there is no specialist spinner in the side, Salman Ali Agha and vice-captain Saud Shakeel may be required to roll their arms over, should the need arise which is likely to be the case.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's right-arm pacer Aamir Jamal was released from the team on Monday (August 19). Jamal will be working on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.
