Pakistan's all-rounder Mohammed Hafeez's performance has come under scanner for many reasons in the past 12 months, especially after Pakistan endured a disappointing World Cup campaign in the United Kingdom. First, the veteran was not named in the list of central contracts for the 2019-20 season, released by PCB in August. Another big setback for Hafeez was not being named for Sri Lanka's tour of Pakistan, as PCB announced a 16-member squad for three ODIs against Sri Lanka.

Hafeez is currently taking part in the Caribbean Premier League 2019 and plays as an all-rounder for franchise St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. The 38-year-old took to social media platform Twitter to share pictures of his "Sunset view in Beautiful St Lucia", which apparently angered the fans.

Here are some reactions from fans...

On Hafeez not getting selected for Sri Lanka Tour, head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq said that the veteran is not completely out of his plans. "He is not out of our plans," said Misbah. "Whoever is effective for the team will be included in the future."
