PAK Vs BAN, Test: In a first, Bangladesh have tasted a Test series win over Pakistan, beating the hosts by 6 wickets in the second Test in Rawalpindi to clinch the series 2-0. Even the most die hard of cricket fans wouldn't have expected this result before a two-match home Test series for Pakistan as they had never succumbed to a defeat against Bangla Tigers in Test cricket history.

However, that did not leave any doubt in the minds of Bangladesh. They believed in themselves and showed that their first Test win at the same venue wasn't a fluke, repeating the same result in the second Test to complete a clean sweep. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second Test, dismissing the home team for 274 with Mehidy Hasan Miraz emerging as the pick of the bowlers, finishing with a five-wicket haul, having conceded 61 runs.

In response, however, Bangladesh might not have managed to cross the 274-run mark but made sure that they do not concede a big lead either, posting 262 runs to set up things nicely for the second half. Litton Das scored a sensational hundred for Bangladesh that kept them in the match and meant Pakistan only had a 12-run advantage at the halfway stage of the match.

Hasan Mahmund's Spell Put Pakistan On The Backfoot

In the second innings, it was Hasan Mahmud's spell that put Pakistan on the backfoot. He scalped a fifer and ended up with figures of 5/43 as Pakistan were bowled out for 172 in the second innings, implying 185 runs to win for Bangladesh. While it looked for a brief while the rai could come to Pakistan's rescue once Bangladesh openers remained unbeaten at Stumps on Day 4 with the score 42/0, even rain Gods didn't interfere in a fantastic achievement for Bangladesh cricket. Litton Das was adjudged the Player of the Match for his match-changing ton.
