Ace Australian speedster James Faulkner has made a huge revelation on his 29th birthday, on Monday. He took to his social media account and shared a picture with his mother Roslyn Carol Faulkner and boyfriend Rob Jubb.


Faulkner in his post revealed that he has been dating Rob for half a decade now. Thus, the 29-year-old became the first male international cricketer to ‘COME OUT LOUD’. He celebrated with his day with his loved ones as he captioned the picture as - “Birthday dinner with the boyfriend @robjubbsta and my mother @roslyn_carol_faulkner #togetherfor5years”.


Faulkner is not the only Australian cricketer who came out and announced a same-sex relationship.

As per reports, since the Legislation to allow same-sex marriage the Marriage Amendment (Definition and Religious Freedoms) Act 2017 was passed by the Australian parliament, a lot of cricketers have got married to their partners.

The Man of the Match of ICC World Cup 2015 has represented Australia in 69 ODIs and 24 T20Is. He has picked 96 and 36 wickets respectively. He played the role of an all-rounder, averaging 34.43 in the 50-over format and also has a century to his name that he scored against India in 2013.
