With the revised schedule of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 now released, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced that the fans could now purchase tickets for the coming world cricket event from August 25. Fans will also the chance to register their interest before actual sales begin August 15. The registration process will help them get ticket news first and help secure a berth for themselves for a World Cup match.

An official release from the ICC has confirmed the following phase-wise sale of ODI World Cup 2023 tickets:
25 August – Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
30 August – India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
31 August – India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
1 September – India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
2 September – India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
3 September – India matches at Ahmedabad
15 September – Semi Finals and Final
The marquee ICC tournament is set to commence on October with last-time finalist New Zealand and England taking on each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The same venue will also host the India vs Pakistan match which was originally slated to be played on October 15 but has now been advanced to October 14. The venue, which is the world's largest cricket stadium, will also host the final.

Ahead of the World Cup, the Asian teams have a good prepartion ground in Asia Cup which will be played in Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the ODI format. Last year, the tournament was played in the T20 format and it was Sri Lanka who had emerged as the champions.
