Star India cricketer Virat Kohli is all set to play a cricket match at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium after a long hiatus when Team India take on Australia in the second Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. While the cricketer now lives in Mumbai, Kohli was born in Delhi and represented the state in domestic cricket. It was the Jaitley Stadium, which was earlier known as the Feroz Shah Kotla, where Kohli played a lot of his cricket in his younger days.
And now when he is about to play a match at the national capital for the first time in 4 years, the right-handed batter made sure he drives to the stadium himself. The 34-year-old took to Instagram to share a story of himself driving to the international cricket venue. He even described it as a 'Nostalgic Feeling.'

Notably, Kohli last played an ODI in Delhi in March 2019 while his last Test match here in his birthplace was in December 2017. Even though he is back to his run-scoring best in the shorter formats of the game after a period of lull, he hasn't yet scored hundred in the game's purest format since 2019.
Given that a lot including a place in the World Test Championship final is riding on the four-Test match series against the Aussies, which India now leads 1-0, Kohli's form would be critical for the Men in Blue. The 34-year-old will also been keen to get a big score under his belt in a format, by his own admission, he loves the most.
Kohli could only contribute 12 runs in the only innings that India batted in the first Test at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. However, led by a hundred from captain Rohit Sharma and more than handy contributions with the bat from the lower order including half-centuries from Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel and a quickfire 37 from Mohammed Shami helped India post 400 after having bowled out Australia for 177. India then took all the 10 Aussie wickets for just 91 runs to complete a famous win by an innings and 132 runs.
