New Delhi: With an aim to make a comeback in the series, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to bat first in the second T20 international at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium in Rajkot on Saturday.
The loss at the Feroze shah Kotla in the first T20 has proven costly for the Kiwis as they have lost their top position in ICC T20 ranking to Pakistan and if they want to stand any chance of climb back on top, they will have to emerge victorious in Rajkot.
For India, on the other hand, a win will help them climb three spot up to second position.
Mohammad Siraj will make his debut for India and set to replace Ashish Nehra, who called curtains down on his glorious career after the first T20 in Delhi.
New Zealand have called in Adam Milne for Tim Southee. While, Glenn Philips will replace Tom Southee.
