Fresh report revolving around the T20 World Cup 2024 claims that the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 fixture could be staged in New York City in USA. The tournament will be played across venue in USA and the Caribbean Islands (West Indies) in what will be the biggest T20 World Cup hosted so far. With bilateral cricket between arch-rivals India and Pakistan suspended, the two teams only meet in ICC events which always make it a much-anticipated fixture.
The report which claimed that the IND vs PAK match will be slated in New York was carried by the Guardian. The media report further claims that New York will host the match after the latest census data revealed that around 7,11,000 Indian and about 1,00,000 people of Pakistani origin live in the city.

As many as three venues in the USA have been shortlisted for hosting T20 World Cup 2024 matches which is set to take place in June. This happens to be the Central Broward Park in Florida, Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas along with the Eisenhower Park on Long Island, about 25 miles from Manhattan, near the southern tip of New York.
India and Pakistan's most-recent faceoff came at the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad where the Men in Blue registered a convincing win.
