MS Dhoni might be a retired international cricketer but there is hardly any dip in his popularity. He might choose to live his life mostly away from the world of social media, yet anything that he does or any public he makes somehow finds a way on the internet. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper only plies his trade in the Indian Premier League (IPL) these days yet he continues to inspire the youth not only through his cricketing excellence but also in the manner in which he mostly conducts himself on and off the field.
This time around it is his brand-new look which is being shared by users on social media. In the new-look, Dhoni can be seen donning a long hairdo and a style which is similar to the hairstyle he used to have when he first arrived at the international arena. The pictures were first shared by a hair stylist Aalim Hakim. He also wrote a post along with the pictures in which he revealed how he and Dhoni worked on making it happen together.
"It's an amazing opportunity for any creative person to get associated with Mahendra Singh Dhoni and I'm always grateful that I get this honour to show my craft by styling his hair... We have done some really cool different hairstyles in the past but before the last IPL when everyone was cutting their hair sharp and short...," a part of his caption read.
"That time Mahi bhai showed me one image of his which was a fan made image of him with long hair and I just got fascinated with that image and requested him to grow his hair long... We both promised each other that will not touch his hair and keep growing it and then we will cut & style it," the post further said.
Aalim disclosed that the long hair style of Dhoni was for an film.
"I have been a huge fan of Mahi bhai's long hair, we decided to create an all new texture and colour for the hair...I really enjoyed creating this effortless hairstyle for Mahi bhai.So here I am sharing some images which I clicked before he went to give a shot for an ad film," he stated.
