Former India cricketer MS Dhoni is often spotted on the streets of Ranchi driving either a motorcycle or car from his enviable collection. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain's love for bikes is well known and yet another evidence of the same has gone viral on social media. This time around Dhoni was not driving his bike solo but instead decided to give gift to a young cricketer from the city who was also training along side him at a facility in Ranchi.

From what is being learned so far, the 42-year-old was supervising the practice session and even practiced himself the glimpses of which can be seen in the clip which has been shared by the cricketer who was fortunate to get a ride back from Dhoni himself.

"Nothing to see here. Just #MSDhoni living his best semi retired life and a very lucky young cricketer who got a lift on his #YAMAHA RD350. 🏍️ #Jharkhand #Dhoni #msd #mahi #ranchi," the video caption from an X account read.

Dhoni's last appearance on the cricketing scene was during the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, where his team, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), clinched their record-tying fifth championship title in a thrilling final against the Gujarat Titans (GT). Following the culmination of this lucrative T20 tournament, Dhoni has been dedicating valuable time to his family. Notably, he was recently spotted in the United States, engaging in a friendly game of golf with former US President Donald Trump.

Furthermore, cricket enthusiasts were pleasantly surprised to find Dhoni gracing the stands during the 2023 US Open quarter-final match between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev. The ex-India captain has said that he will return for at least one for season in the IPL.
