MS Dhoni's love for automobiles is not a secret. It is well-documented how the former India captain loves to ride his bikes and cars and has a lavish garage for all his bikes which has left even the likes of ex-India pacer Venkatesh Prasad in awe. And now it seems like the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain has added yet another bike to his already enviable collection ahead of Diwali 2023. The latest bike in his collection is reportedly a brand new customised Jawa 42 Bobber.
For the unversed, the price of the Jawa 42 Bobber in India, commences at Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Having said that this this is a customised version of that bike which would easily end up costing much more than that. Dhoni's new bike boasts of a bottle green paint with the gold pinstripes on its fuel tank. The design goes all the way through to the side panels of the bike along with its mudguards.
A report carried by Times Now claims that Dhoni was given the bike by Polymer Pipes and Fittings. Notably, Dhoni was announced as the brand ambassador along with Chris Gayle in March earlier this year.
Talking about Dhoni's cricketing assignment, after having retired from international cricket, the wicketkeeper-batter has been plying his trade for CSK in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Even though there were specualtion which suggested that IPL 2023 could be his final year in the tournament, after leading his franchise to a record-equalling fifth tournament, he announced that he would be back for another year as a way of saying thank you to his fans who travelled to every IPL venue where CSK played as if it was a home game for the Men in Yellow, just to catch a glimpse of the legendary leader.
