Pakistan have announced a shocking change in the Playing XI for 3rd T20I against Australia, as the side have dropped their white-ball skipper Mohammad Rizwan for the fixture. In his place, vice-captain Salman Ali Agha will be leading their side, who will be aiming to avoid a whitewash, as they trail 2-0 in the series.


The third T20I will be played at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.

Agha Ali Salman Provides Update On Mohammad Rizwan's Absence


Pakistan have won the coin toss and elected to bat first. During the toss, tha stand-in skipper provided an update on Mohammad Rizwan's absence, stating that the side wanted to try Haseebullah Khan instead.


"We are going to bat first. Very excited and looking forward to lead the team. Rizwan is missing out, we wanted to try out Haseebullah and Naseem is resting. Jahandad Khan makes his debut. We want to put a good total on the board and restrict them," said the Pakistan skipper.


Australia have an unchanged Playing XI for the third and final T20I, as the home side 'wants to keep the momentum going'.


"We are going with the same team. The bowlers have been brilliant. We want to keep the momentum going. It's a pretty good wicket and early wicket is the key. We will see how it goes tonight," said Josh Inglis, Australia Captain, after losing the toss.
