Mohammad Amir, the ex-Pakistan speedster, was not too pleased when a fan called him "fixer" during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) fixture in Karachi. Soon after the left-arm pacer heard the fan making that comment on him, he got involved in a heated exchange with the fan. The incident happened during the Lahore Qalandars' faceoff against Quetta Gladiators on Sunday (March 10).

Amir, who is contracted with the Quetta Gladiators this season, conceded 30 runs in his 4 overs while picking up a wicket as his team conceded 166/4 in 20 overs. In response, Amir ended up on the winning side as his side chased down the total in a last-ball finish to match number 28 of PSL 2024.

However, what grabbed the attention of the fans was an incident which happened when Amir was returning with his teammates to the dressing room. The 31-year-old was greeted with 'fixer, fixer' chants. When the fast bowler had enough of it, he retorted back by saying: "Ghar se yehi seekh ke aate ho (Is this what you learn at your home?)"
