MLC 2024: The Major League Cricket 2024 is off to start and after conclusion of four matches, it's fair enough to say that scoring has not been quite easy on both the venues, as bowlers have done extremely well to take advantage of lengthy boundaries and wind. However, the likes of Finn Allen and Nicholas Pooran continue their impressive run of form and dominate bowlers, as the second edition of the league promises to be special in the aftermath of a successful hosting of T20 World Cup 2024.
Finn Allen was instrumental in San Francisco Unicorns' thumping win, as his blistering 63 off 37 handed Los Angeles Knight Riders their first loss of the tournament.
"Yeah, it was good. I think we probably took a little bit too long to get the pace of the wicket at the start. It's just something to focus on next time we come back here, but, yeah, we're all happy with the result. Yeah, I mean, the way Shorty (Short) came out and struck the ball straight away definitely relieved a bit of pressure off me. I guess I could just get into the partnership with him and get into a bit of a zone," said Fill Allen during the post-match presentation ceremony.
