The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the list of match officials for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 semifinals. While India, Afghanistan, South Africa and England have proceeded to the business end of the tournament, Afghanistan (AFG) and South Africa (SA) will meet lock horns in Semifinal 1 in Trinidad. The remaining two teams India and England will meet in Semifinal 2.


Richard Illingworth and Nitin Menon have been trusted to be the on-field umpires in the first semifinal in Trinidad which will see Afghanistan making history as they play their first-ever semifinal. The Proteas too would be determined as they have never made it to the final of a World Cup.

SA vs AFG T20 World Cup 2024 semifinal 1 will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad on Thursday (June 27) with the first ball set to be bowled at 06:00 am (Indian Standard Time). Richard Kettleborough will the TV umpire in this match while Ahsan Raza will act as the fourth umpire.


In the second semifinal, Chris Gaffaney and Rodney Tucker will be the on-field umpires as India and England meet in a repeat of the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinals in Guyana. Joel Wilson will be the TV umire for this match while Paul Reiffel will be the fourth umpire for this IND vs ENG fixture set to get underway at 8 pm (Indian Standard Time) on June 27.
