The Saurashtra Cricket Association are ashamed and left in complete embarrassing situation as liquor bottles were recovered off Saurashtra cricketers at the Chandigarh Airport on January 27. The U-23 team of Saurashtra is subject to this controversy as five players were reportedly found carrying the bottles of liquor and beer on their way back to Rajkot.
The Saurashtra Cricket Association Secretary, Himanshu Shah was seemingly furious with the incident and has ensured the ethical lovers of the sport that proper action will be taken against the accused cricketers and we might see the termination of the contract of the following.

The Liquor Incident From The C.K. Nayudu Tournament 2024
The U-23 cricket team of Saurashtra travelled to Chandigrah for the fixture of the ongoing C.K. Nayudu tournament and were subject to return after the conclusion of the match to Rajkot. However, during the checking stages at the Chandigarh Airport, the authorities were left stunned by the amount of liquor carried by the cricketer as there were reportedly 27 liquor bottles and 2 beer cages in the luggage.
