India came up with yet another clinical performance to beat West Indies by seven wickets in the third and final T20I of the three-match series at the Province Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday. The Men in Blue restricted Windies to a below-par total of 146 runs before executing a near to perfect chase of the target with seven wickets to bag.

Captain Virat Kohli hailed the all-round efforts of the team and lauded pacer Deepak Chahar for his impressive spell with the new ball.

Chahar who was picked over left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed in the game put India in the driver's seat with some early strikes with the new ball. He got India off to a perfect start with three wickets in his first two overs running through the Windies top-order. Chahar drew first blood by removing Sunil Narine before getting rid of Evin Lewis and Shimron Hetmyer in his 2nd over.

Talking in the post-match presentation ceremony, captain Kohi lauded Chahar, who had an impressive season for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year and said his bowling style is quite similar to that of senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Chahar like Bhuvneshwar, can swing the ball both ways and enjoys bowling with the new ball.
