The Indian cricket team is gearing for the historic pink-ball Test against Bangladesh which begins from November 22 at the Eden Gardens. The players of both teams are sweating to the extreme under the floodlights.

After practising from two straight days in Indore, the teams will be arriving in Kolkata for the final showdown where they will continue the preparations. Meanwhile, Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane made a social media post, expressing his excitement for the upcoming clash.

Rahane said “Already dreaming about the historic pink ball test,” along with a picture of him sleeping and a pink ball lying next to him.

Here’s the post:

Reacting to his teammate’s picture, Indian skipper Virat Kohli commented “Nice pose jinksy”.

While Shikhar Dhawan, who is not a part of the Indian Test squad for the Bangladesh series, commented, “sapney mein pic khich gayi”.

India thrashed Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs in the first Test where Rahane played a well-composed knock of 86 runs from 172 deliveries. His innings was laced with nine boundaries.

Now the hosts will look to whitewash it here as they start their pink-ball Test campaign. The Kohli-led side is already top of the ICC World Test Championship chart with 300 points from six matches, recording wins in all six of them.
