The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has announced the three teams on Thursday for Deodhar Trophy. The matches between India-A, India-B and India-C will be played from October 23 to October 27 at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. Dinesh Kartik has been named as the captain for India-A. Teenage sensation Prithvi Shaw will be seen playing under the captaincy of Kartik.


Star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Karun Nair have also been selected in India-A. Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj, who performed well in domestic cricket, also managed to make a place in the team.


The Captain of Mumbai in Vijay Hazare Trophy, Shreyas Iyer, has been appointed as the captain of India-B. Mayank Aggarwal and Hanuma Vihari too made it to the team. While Mayank recently grabbed a spot in the Indian Test team, Vihari made his Test debut against England this year. The team also has experienced players like Manoj Tiwary and Shahbaz Nadeem.


Deepak Chahar, who made a debut during the Asia Cup-2012, has been included in India-B.


Indian Test team's vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has been made the captain of India-C. The team has Left-handed star batsman Suresh Raina in form of senior player. In Rahane's team, young players like Shubhaman Gill, Ishaan Kishan, Washington Sunder, Rahul Chahar have been selected in the team. Omar Nazir of Jammu and Kashmir has also succeeded in making Rahane's place in the team.
