The second Test of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh is all set to get underway at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on September 27 (Friday). The Men in Blue registered a convincing win in the series opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai and will be confident heading into the second Test match. Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan dropped a bombshell on the eve of the second Test in Kanpur that this could be his last Test match while confirming that he has played his last T20I.
With all the chatter around the Kanpur Test, eyes will also be on Kanpur weather today (September 27). The reason being the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had recently issued a yellow alert in the city in view of rainfall but does that mean weather Gods can play a spoilsport on the opening day of the IND vs BAN 2nd Test match?
As per Kanpur weather prediction on Accuweather, the opening day of the Test match will be "Cloudy with periods of rain and a thunderstorm." The probability of precipitation is 96%, if this forecast is to be believed. Forecast website 'Weather' also suggests possibility of rain and "thunderstorms after 11:15." It further shows that the probability of rain is highest in the afternoon at 96%.

While that may paint a bleak picture for fans wanting to enjoy a full day's of Test cricket action, there could still be enough time to see a result in the second Test.
