India are currently taking on Australia in the third and the final match of their last ODI series before the ICC Men's World Cup 2023 at home. While Australia batted first and posted 352/7 in Rajkot, at one stage they were looking set for a total in excess of 400 runs. Even the best of the Indian bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah were having a day to forget with the Indian speedster conceding 51 runs off his first five overs, without a single wicket to his credit.

However, when he did return in the dying stages of the innings with the captain looking at him for some sort of a comeback. He did not disappoint. While he deceived batters with his slower ball variations, his dismissal of Glenn Maxwell was a sight to behold for lovers of fast bowling and those backing the Men in Blue. Bumrah's fiery yorker, delivered at 142kmph, hit the base of stumps to send Maxwell back into the pavilion.

The video of Maxwell's dismissal was shared by BCCI on their social media.

Eventually, Bumrah ended with figures of 3/81, a superb recovery from his initial figures. Meanwhile, in response to Australia's 352/7, India have started off on a brisk note with Rohit taking the charge. Washington Sundar has been promoted up the order but he has had less to do with the kind of form the Indian captain has been in.

The Indian fans would be hoping that he can carry the form deeper into this innings and then into the World Cup where India begin their campaign against the same opposition on October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Prior to that, India have two warm-up fixtures to play against England and Netherlands.
