Indian cricket team senior pacer Ishant Sharma and his wife Pratima Singh (basketball player) were blessed with a baby girl on Friday (November 3). The sports couple announced this news in a shared post on Instagram. "A new baby girl, a world of wonder, hope, and dreams all wrapped in pink. We're overjoyed to introduce the newest member of our family," the couple wrote in their post on Instagram.
"Oh my goddd!! Huge congratulations to you mommy and daddy and love to the little munchkin", Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma commented on their post.

Ishant Sharma's wife, Pratima Singh, is a basketball player who represented the India women's national basketball team at the highest level.
Back in 2020, Ishant Sharma had opened up on certain aspects of his personal life. He revealed that he fell in love with Pratima, the moment he spotted her at a basketball event in 2011.
During an interview in Cricbuzz's show Spicy Pitch, Ishant had revealed: "I saw Pratima (Ishant's wife now) at a local basketball tournament organised by my friend, where I was chief guest. It was love at first sight for me. In fact, I knew I wanted to marry Pratima since Day One."
"I started going to the tournament regularly from the very next day. But, I was shy with her at that time. I would not even talk to her. It was only before an Australia series, I gave her a hint that I need to talk to her on something really important. It took me one year to woo her and only after that, I proposed to her."
