The 24-year-old was present in the 2nd slip, as Mukesh Kumar's ball took an outside edge off Prithvi Shaw's bat, and Devdutt Padikkal dived to his right side to grab a blinder.

It has not been a great start for the reigning Ranji Trophy champions at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, as Rest Of India have sent Prithvi Shaw, Ayush Mharte, and Hardik Tamore back into the pavilion.
Ruturaj Gaikwad has so far done a decent job with bowling changes as his rotation of Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal, and Prasidh Krishna have not let the Mumbai batters settle-in.
Mukesh Kumar has been the pick of the bowlers for the side, as he forced all the three dismissals in the morning session. Captain Ajinkya Rahana and Shreyas Iyer (at the time of writing) are at the crease for Mumbai and the veteran duo will be looking to guide their side out of trouble.
