In the midst of it, the Emirates cricket board has gone ahead and announced that they have received confirmation from the BCCI that the IPL season 13 will be held in three venues of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

However, there are certain members in the GC who believe that IPL should be held in India itself and insist that it remains BCCI's primary option.

The meeting is also set to disburse apprehensions of the IPL franchisees about the protocols of a bio secure environment. It is learnt that BCCI has applied permissions for 2000 people with each franchise asked to limit their entourage to 35 persons each for the tournament, including support staff and owners.

The franchisees are still in dark on how the travel and camp arrangements will be worked out and the tournament match timings etc, all of which are expected to be discussed in the meeting before putting it out in the open for all.
