Hours before the Indian Premier League (IPL) players’ auction, six more cricketers have been added in the pool. Thus, the total number of players to go under the hammer in Kolkata on Thursday has now gone to 338.

The six cricketers are – Vinay Kumar, Ashoke Dinda, Robin Bisht, Sanjay Yadav, Matthew Wade and Jake Weatherald.

Vinay Kumar and Ashoke Dinda are the capped players in this list who have represented India. They have been prominent in the cash-rich tournament, having played multiple franchises. Dinda has featured for Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors India, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rising Pune Supergiant. However, he wasn’t picked by any team in the last two seasons.

Vinay Kumar had represented Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians in the past IPL editions.

Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Mathew Wade last featured in IPL 2011. He played for the Delhi Daredevils. He is currently playing the 3-match Test series at home against New Zealand.

Wade’s countryman Jake Weatherald plays for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League.

Robin Bisht has donned the Delhi Daredevils in 2012. However, the right-handed batsman has failed to find any buyer thereafter.

All-rounder Sanjay Yadav was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017 but failed to seal a spot in the team and was subsequently let go by the side.
